1、New kettle heating
Add appropriate amount of water or alkali in the liner.

Do not heat up quickly (the rate of temperature rise and fall is not more than 5℃/min), and the temperature should not be too high (generally heating to 200℃ can be).
2、General operation steps

We use a silicon system as the catalyst for the hydrothermal synthesis reactor and add hydrofluoric acid or alkali for heating and washing. For the silicon metal system, we use aqua regia for cleaning. We dissolve potassium permanganate in water, add 3-5ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid, seal it in the reactor, and perform a hydrothermal reaction at 180 ℃ for 5-10 hours.

Use aqua regia to clean (aqua regia: concentrated nitric acid and concentrated hydrochloric acid three to one ratio).
We clean the liner (hydrothermal synthesis reactor accessories) by adding a mixed solution of approximately 1:5 nitric acid and water, heating it up to 180 ℃, and maintaining it for approximately 12 hours, adjusting the ratio of the mixed solution and the temperature as needed. However, the defect of this method is that it will make the repeatability of the experiment worse.
Boil with oxalic acid solution for 6 hours at a temperature of about 160 degrees depending on the experiment.
Use hydrofluoric acid or ethanol to heat the reaction for cleaning, or use other strong acids.

Precautionary
When cleaning the reactor liner, you need to pay attention to the following matters:
The valve and power supply of the reactor need to be closed before cleaning.
Use suitable cleaning agent and cleaning method when cleaning.
Thoroughly rinse the reactor liner after cleaning.
After cleaning, you need to check whether the reactor liner is clean or not, if it is not clean, you need to re-clean it.
